NOT TO SCALE Notes: North is the top of the page This barn is designed to house boarders, school and private use. Each area is held independently from each other with respect to equipment and access. Both stall aisles are concreted with drains. North side of the indoor arena; these stalls and tack rooms are currently for boarders. 3 tack rooms are currently available for boarders. The Lounge is heated and part of it is a kitchen with a bathroom. The Lounge also has windows to the indoor arena for viewing. The lay-up stall is temporary and more stalls or tack rooms can be added. Over the stalls/tack rooms/lounge is balcony seating for viewing the events in the indoor arena. The boarder wash rack is outside the east door. This wash rack is fenced with a concrete slab complete with drain, cross ties and hot water tank. The indoor arena, stall area and outdoor arena is wired with speakers installed for horse show PA as well as for playing music. Southwest side of indoor arena, from the kitchen is set up for lesson horses, lease horses and school tack room, etc. School tack and horses are for college and lesson students. See Policies and Procedures for rules governing student and boarder boundaries and conduct. click here Southeast side of indoor arena, from the kitchen is set up for privately owned horses and training horses. Tack room is private and laundry room is also set up for meds room and is off limits to boarders and students. Each side has indoor wash racks with drain, overhead boom hose and hot water heaters. South side of indoor arena; full kitchen is used for riding camp and student lounge, the kitchen also has windows for viewing the indoor arena. The upstairs room extends from the kitchen, across the aisle and into the front rooms. The upstairs room is used for sleeping quarters for summer camp and class room for college. This space is also available for meetings and banquets. Across the aisle are 2 rest rooms with vanity/sink, toilet and shower in each. The "Front Room" is the front entrance to the Equestrian Center. With cathedral ceilings and spiral staircase that leads to the upstairs, this room is where the customer operations is held. One half of the room is a reception desk with main computer, the other half is a lounge with couch and stuffed chairs. All business runs in this room; registration, schedule, lesson payments, customer database, program development, etc. Off the front room to the east is a tack store with a huge window that enables customers to view inventory while the door is locked. Track lighting is installed for use with displays. Across the hall from the tack store is the private office. The private office is set up for files; curriculum, finance, etc. Off the private office is the "video room" that has couch, recliners, TV and is set up for video equipment. Video wiring runs from this room into the kitchen and upstairs. Satellite viewing is available through the video room. This room's inside walls are also insulated and is soundproof. The annex barn is not drawn to scale. Current use; hay storage, tractor & manure spreader parking, round pen. This barn has housed temporary stalls for horse shows and has also been used as warm up arena for indoor shows. This barn also has a "Concession Room" approx. 12' X 48' that is used for horse show office and horse show concessions. One end contains cupboards for horse show equipment; ribbons, PA equipment, etc. with a 10' built-in office desk to take entries. The other end of the concession room is a kitchen with sink, plenty of cubboard space, refrigerators, freezers and a serving table for exhibitors. The middle of the room has tables for dining and lounging. The concession room also looks out into the outdoor show ring. Southeast corner of the barn has a work shop for tools, maintenance equipment and is wired for welders. Across the aisle from the shop is the entrance into the indoor arena and storage area for stall cleaning equipment, brooms, trash cans, etc. Southwest corner of the barn has the feed room that services the entire barn. Part of the feed room contains a 2-ton steel feed bin for bulk custom feed. The rest of the feed room is for bucket storage, supplements, turn-out halters and lead ropes, blankets and sheets, farrier equipment, etc. Each aisle has it's own farrier stall set up with mats and cross ties, wired for electricity and equipped with extra lighting. These stalls are also used by the vet.
